This privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) tells you about the information that Leaders of Change LLC (the “Company,” “we” or “our”) collects in connection with the operation of its website, accessible via de-bias.io (the “Site”), including when accessed through any state/district/school link that connects to the Site, how the information is used and how you can access and correct certain information that we may collect. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “you” and “user” means reviewers.

Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to information collected from you.

YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND REVISIONS TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you may not use the Site. The Company reserves the right, in our discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Privacy Policy from time to time, upon providing you with prior notice. We agree that changes cannot be retroactive. Changes to the Privacy Policy will be made effective upon providing you with thirty (30) days notice. Notice will be provided by sending you an email at the address we have on file for you with your account. For material changes to this Privacy Policy that affect the collection or use of personal information from students, we will notify and obtain the prior verifiable consent from the Authorized Person.

INFORMATION COLLECTED AND HOW WE USE IT

You always remain in control of the information you provide to the Company. We may collect the following types of personally identifiable information about Employees: name, company, demographics, email address, which an Authorized Person voluntarily submits to us. We collect name and email address for non-students if provided by Local Education Agency Personnel.

We may collect, maintain and use contact information you have voluntarily submitted so that we can contact you to respond to your comments or requests for information.

Like most web-based services, we may automatically receive non-identifying information through your use of the Site, such as the pages you access, the Site features you use. This information is used to improve the Site and to troubleshoot issues and is not connected in any way to any personally identifiable information you may provide to us.

The Site allows users to interact online with employers, for the purpose of decreasing costs associated with diversity, equity, and inclusion by increasing engagement and providing workplace resources through a race, gender, and equity lens.

Information provided by you through this manner is treated as personally identifiable information and will not be, privately or publicly, disclosed to employers or other reviewers.

DATA SHARING AND TRANSFER

The Company will not provide data and the personal identifiable information on individual reviewees. Conscious Unbias will provide the analysis of trends for all reviews on an aggregate basis to customers (collectively “Customer”). The Company provides such information as a service to its customers, but it does not control the use of such data after it provides it to the Customer. Consequently, the Company takes no responsibility or liability for the use of such data after it provides it to the Customer.

Conscious Unbias a subsidiary of Leaders of Change LLC, does not provide, sell or lend any personally identifiable information to any third party.

The Company reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information based on the good faith belief that such action is necessary or appropriate to: (a) protect and defend the rights or property of the Company.

Your personal information will generally be stored in the Company’s databases, which are located in the United States. Specific information is provided on the Site’s consent or registration form, where needed. Our policy is to ensure that your information is always granted the same level of protection no matter where it is stored. In the event that the Company is involved in a transaction such as a merger, stock purchase or sale, or sale of substantially all of the Company’s assets, personal information may be transferred to the other party in such transaction under the same level of security it had before the transaction.

USE OF YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

The Company stores only information provided by reviews.

Upon our collection of your personally identifiable information, the Company may use such personally identifiable information internally, separately or in combination with pre-existing information, for the following purposes:

· To provide recommendation of services limited to the context in which the information was provided;

· To troubleshoot problems with the Site, or any services, as requested;

· To customize your experience, content or homepage on the Site; or

· To enforce our Terms of Use.

Upon termination or cancellation of a Customer contract, the Company will delete all personally identifiable data from its records. The Company may retain aggregate, non-identifying reviews for the purpose of reporting, analytics, and improving the Company’s products and services. Leaders of Change LLC., does not provide, sell or lend any personally identifiable information to any third party.

COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

Cookies help us in many ways to make your use of the Site more enjoyable and meaningful, such as understanding usage patterns and improving functionality of the Site. Cookies are text information files that your web browser places on your computer when you use a website. The Company and/or its third party suppliers, licensors or agents may use such “cookie” technology to obtain non-personal information from you. Such information may include:

· Details of how you used our service, such as your activity on the Site, which pages you accessed, and the duration of your visit.

· Browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and referral URL

If we know or have reason to know of a systems security breach by an unauthorized party or that any of your Information was used for an unauthorized purpose, then we will immediately notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. Depending on where you live or where your schools are located, you may also have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing, and we will provide you with such required written notice in addition to the electronic notice. 

ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION

We attempt to keep your files complete, up-to-date, and accurate. You may request that we delete any information at any time.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Company is strongly committed to protecting the safety and privacy of children who use the Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without consent from the Authorized Person.

THIRD–PARTIES AND LINKS TO OTHER SITES

In an attempt to provide increased value to our users, this Site may contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third parties other than the Company (may include, without limitation, your state education agency, your school district and your school) (the “External Sites”). However, no such third party is affiliated with the Company, the Company has no control over these linked sites, all of which have separate privacy and data collection practices independent of the Company. The Company has no responsibility or liability for these independent policies or actions and is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of External Sites. These External Sites are only for your convenience and therefore you access them at your own risk, and you may be subject to the terms and conditions and the privacy policies imposed by such third parties. Links do not imply that the Company sponsors, endorses, is affiliated with or associated with, or has been legally authorized to use any trademark, trade name, service mark, design, logo, symbol or other copyrighted materials displayed on or accessible through such External Sites. Nonetheless, the Company seeks to protect the integrity of its Site and the links placed upon it and therefore requests any feedback on not only its own Site, but for sites it links to as well (including if a specific link does not work). You should contact the Site administrator or Webmaster for those External Sites if you have any concerns regarding such links or the content located on such External Sites.

The Company may use parent emails to communicate.
